Man shot multiple times in drug deal gone sour

A man was shot three to five times in the chest in a drug deal gone bad at South 2nd Street and West Maple on Thursday, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said. The shooting occurred in a pickup truck on the side of Brownie’s, a popular convenience store on West Maple after 1 p.m. The victim was identified as Jeremiah Bell of Eunice.
