Music from around the world comes to Eunice. The Eunice Symphony Orchestra conductor Nancy Simon provides tips to violinists Brenda Granger and Louis Huckaby during a rehearsal. Mayor signs pre-kindergarten proclamation. Mayor Rusty Moody signed a Proclamation Tuesday morning in recognition of St. Landry Parish pre-kindergarten classes. There will be a Parish wide Pre-k Round up Friday at the St. Landry Parish Resource Center in Opelousas where parents will be able to register their children for pre-k. St. Landry Parish pre-k children and parents will have the opportunity to enjoy an exposition of age-appropriate activities to enhance the child’s development, as well as refreshments, door prizes and story telling.
