The Eunice City Marshal’s Office is warning area businesses to be award of counterfeit currency.
During a traffic stop this week, deputies with the Eunice City Marshal’s Office confiscated seven counterfeit $100 bills.
After investigation it was determined that the fake currency had been used in the Acadiana area to purchase goods.
