Curfew in Acadia Parish declared

Effective tonight, April 2, Acadia Parish will start a parish-wide curfew, according to Sheriff K.P. Gibson.
The curfew will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
People who are traveling to and from work are asked to have identification and a letter from employers with them during the curfew hours, he stated. 
The letter needs to indicate the person’s name and that they are employed with the business and have work hours between the curfew times.
