Deadline nears to reserve seats for Leaders in Philanthropy Awards Luncheon

The deadline to reserve seats and tables to the Community Foundation of Acadiana’s upcoming Leaders in Philanthropy Awards Luncheon is Monday.
Seats are $75 each and tables of eight are $500 and can be reserved online at cfacadiana.org/2017lip.
The awards luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 16 at the Cajundome Convention Center. The event features Phyllis Taylor, president of Patrick F. Taylor Foundation, as the keynote speaker. Taylor is a well-known philanthropist for the New Orleans area and is heavily involved in many charities and organizations throughout Louisiana. Also during the ceremony is a tribute honoring the work and volunteers of the Lafayette Community Health Care Clinic featuring Dr. Terry A. Cromwell, founder of the clinic.
In addition to the keynote address, CFA will recognize 15 individuals at the event for making a positive impact in their communities through philanthropy:
— Acadia Parish – B.I. Moody III and the late Thelma Moody.
— Evangeline Parish – Rhonda and Frank Butler.
— Iberia Parish – Lisa and Patrick Norris.
— Lafayette Parish – Emily Hamner and Michael Hamner.
— St. Landry Parish – Pat Mason-Guillory.
— St. Martin Parish – Coatney Raymond.
and the late Johnny Raymond.
— St. Mary Parish – Gail Poche Lippman and the late Alfred S. Lippman.
— Vermilion Parish – Drs. Padmini and Jagdish Gupta.
CFA will present corporate awards to Berard Transportation of New Iberia and IBERIABANK of Lafayette for their outstanding philanthropy in Acadiana.
