Eunice native leads Texas chiropractors

Max Vige, D.C., of League City assumed the role of president for the Texas Chiropractic Association at its annual convention on June 10 in Dallas, Texas. This marks the beginning of the one year term for the Eunice native.
“It’s an honor to be a part of one of the largest chiropractic state associations in our great country,” Vige said. “We just completed one of our most successful legislative sessions, which will allow doctors of chiropractic to continue to provide safe and effective care to the citizens of Texas.”
Vige, 41, most recently served in the TCA as the vice president. This past winter Vige made several visits to Austin, Texas, on behalf of the TCA during the 85th Legislative Session.
Vige is a two time recipient of the President’s Award at the annual convention. This award is presented by the TCA president each year to honor an individual who helped the president and TCA board of directors over the past year. Vige is also a past recipient of the Texas Young Chiropractor of the Year award.
Vige has been an active member of the TCA since joining in 2003. He has served on the board of directors for the TCA as well as serving several terms as District 11 president (Houston area). He serves in the League City Lions club and Rotary Club of the Mainland.
Vige graduated from Texas Chiropractic College a doctor of chiropractic in 2002. A board certified chiropractor, his practice GBC Chiropractic is located in Dickinson, Texas.
