Students of the Month at Eunice Elementary. Eunice Elementary recognized its Students of the Month for February. Bicycle winner at Highland Elementary. Reggie Trosclair of Horace Mann Insurance donated two bicycles to Highland Elementary’s Perfect Attendance drawing recipients. The winners of the Perfect Attendance for the fourth six weeks were Dylan Thompson, second grader; and Collin LaCombe, kindergartener.
Garden of the Week. The residence of Mary and Keith Johnson at 251 Ella Street received Eunice Bulb & Blossom Club’s Residential Yard of the Week. The front lawn features flowering beds of snap dragons, azaleas, red holly tree, pansies, petunias, iris, japanese yew, kalanchoe bushes, and larioppe. Fountain gets a new coat. Brandon Guillory, left, and Ben Manuel, with H20 Pools of Eunice, clean and paint the Veterans Memorial fountain at Second Street and Park Avenue. The sprucing up was in advance of the Clenest City judging and was a project of the Rotary Club.
