Supplying concrete for the foundation. Looking much like a giant insect probing the earth, a pump feeds concrete to the foundation of Phase 2 of Divine Providence on La. 13 South. The concreting began at 2 a.m. Tuesday to allow proper time for the material to set.
Derby winners. Two local Cub Scouts attended the Evangeline Area Council Pinewood Derby on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Ascension Day School in Lafayette. Left, Brennon Thompson, third in the Wolf division, and Noah Moncla took first in the Tiger division. Both are members of Pack 430 in Eunice.
