Team D’Aubin leads EMTL. Team D’Aubin extended its leade in the week six of Eunice Men’s Tennis League play with a 12-9 victory over second-place Team Fuselier Monday Night. Troy Broussard returns the ball for Team Pucheu.

Standing by, just in case. Fire Chief Wayne Lavergne, back right, observes as workers prepare to remove a damaged gasoline pump at Brownie’s on Maple Avenue this past week. The pump housing was hit by a vehicle backing up on the lot. Lavergne and a fire company and a policeman were on hand only as a precaution. Their assistance turned out to be unneeded.
