First criminal trial held in 27th Distirct since onset of COVID-19

OPELOUSAS — A jury found an Opelousas man guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of death of his wife in what St. Landry Parish District Attorney Chad Pitre said was the first criminal trial since the onset of COVID-19.
