Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and while most of us will enjoy a huge feast, others may not.
Why not give to those less fortunate? You can. The Eunice Food Bank, located at 251 West Park, is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, from 9 a.m. until noon.
Mary Ann Guillory, director, welcomes all donations and clothing. The Food Bank serves many families in Eunice, and these families rely on food staples.
If you desire to give, The Food Bank is looking for non perishables, toiletries, staples, diapers, soap, dish detergent, toilet paper, canned goods, as well as monetary donations.
The Eunice Food Bank also welcomes Adopt sponsors, those that will give on a monthly basis, quarterly, yearly and even weekly.
The Eunice Food Bank will have its Food Bank Food Drive on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. Guillory says she is looking for volunteers as well as store plastic bags.
