JD Bank sponsored and hosted an Appreciation Free barbecue luncheon for city workers, Eunice City Council, Eunice’s Chief of Police and Fire Chief at noon Thursday at the VFW Hall on Bobcat Drive.
Kitty Jo Deshotel, vice president and branch manager at JD Bank, expressed a thank you, and added, “Our city workers did an amazing job in our recent hurricane clean up efforts, and along with our city council and all of Eunice’s front line workers.
“They do a great job not only during disaster times but year round. I feel that an appreciation luncheon was definitely in store for them. It is a great thing to honor and recognize them.”
JD Bank prepared 50 barbecue plate lunches which included pork steak, rice dressing, pork and beans, a sliced bread, barbecue sauce, and a soft drink.
