Janice Jones, BS, MBA, has been named chief financial officer for Mercy Regional Medical Center, of Ville Platte, and Acadian Medical Center, of Eunice.
Calvin Green, chief executive officer at Mercy Regional Medical Center, along with Kevin Frank, chief executive officer at Acadian Medical Center, announced Jones’ appointment to the CFO role.
Jones has been with Mercy and Acadian for 15 years.
“We are fortunate to have Janice serving both of our facilities. Janice’s proven leadership record through her previous experience as associate CFO are tremendous assets to our facilities,” Green said in a news release.
Jones’ former management experience not only includes her role as associate CFO, but as controller and compliance officer for both Mercy and Acadian campuses over the last 13 years.
Jones holds a bachelor of science in accounting as well as a master of business administration from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and University of Phoenix respectively.

Shreveport-based Allegiance Health Management, is a system of 16 hospitals in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Arkansas, which includes Mercy Regional Medical Center of Ville Platte and Acadian Medical Center of Eunice. Mercy Regional Medical Center and its Acadian Medical Center campus make up a 109-bed acute care system serving Evangeline and St. Landry parishes along with surrounding communities.
