LSUE announce Spring Continuing Ed courses beginning

LSU Eunice Continuing Education is offering courses a series of leisure learning course this spring. Yoga, scotch tasting, water aerobics and a cooking class highlight Continuing Education's spring lineup.
Yoga: Attaining Happiness and Peace will meet Tuesdays and Fridays between March 19 and April 15 at 5:15 p.m. The course, taught by Suzy Conley, is $75 for the two months or $15 for individual classes.
Scotch Tasting, Usquebaugh "Water for Life" will be held over four sessions. The class will meet on March 27, April 18, May 1, and May 29 between 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The course, taught by Dr. John Hamlin, will offer tastings from across Scotland. Registration is $99 for all four classes or $30 for an individual class.
Cooking Class, Covering Your Bases will teach students how to use different base sauces to create multiple dishes. Explore cream based sauces, roux, and gravies. Chef NIghttrain Blane Faulk will teach the class on March 29, May 8 and May 30 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Registration is $90 for all three classes or $40 for an individual class.
Water Aerobics is held Tuesdays and Thursdays each week between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The course helps participants increase joint movement while decreasing stress. The course is $25 for one month and taught by Renee Fruge.
LSUE Continuing Education will also offer two Lifeguard courses over the next two months. The Lifeguard AED, CPR, First Aid Certification course teaches candidates the knowledge and skills need to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Lee Ballard teaches the course, and registration is $155. Choose between April 26 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. or May 31 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
