The annual Take Back the Night March and Vigil is planned at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in front of the Eunice Municipal Complex, according to Paula Anderson of the Chat-A-While Social Civic Club.
Also participating in the program will be the Landry-Evangeline Sexual Assault Center.
The guest speaker will be Eva Noel, she said.
The event begins with a walk to Circle Park and back to the parking lot in front of the Municipal Complex, Anderson said.
The event last from an hour to an hour and half, she said.
The purpose of the march and vigil is to make known and take a stand against sexual violence, increase awareness of violence and speak out against crimes.
