On Court One, team captain Phyllis Hargroder and Jamie Kirsch earned a 6-4, 6-2 win over Team Margaret’s Michelle Lafleur and Debbie Miller.
On Court Two, Team Margaret’s Sylvia Fontenot and Robin Savoy grabbed a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 split set win over the Team Phyllis duo of Janet Prudhomme and Kelly Sonnier.
On Court Three, Team Phyllis’ Cynthia Tanner and Jeanine Kibodeaux earned 6-1, 6-1 sweep over Team Margaret’s Angie Thibodeaux and Kelly Tupper.
On Court Four, Team Margaret’s Heidi Dischler and Daphne Simoneaux battled to a 6-1, 2-6, 6-1 split set win over Team Phyllis’ Connie Tupper and Myra Miller.
On Court Five, Team Margaret’s Gayle Godeaux and Rachel Andrus won 7-6, 6-0 over Caroline Andrus and Cheryl Manuel of Team Phyllis.
