Detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office have arrested an area woman on a charge of second degree murder as well as a theft of a motor vehicle charge.
Savannah James, 32, of Maxie, was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on charges of second degree murder, theft of a motor vehicle and violation of probation.
