Memorial Day observance planned

Eunice Mayor Scott Fontenot is to be guest speaker at the Memorial Day ceremony scheduled at 5 p.m. Monday at the South 2nd Street Memorial Monument brick walkway and the Rotary Fountain.
The event is sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8971, the Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion Post 129.
The public is invited to attend.
