Jeanita Morris is the winner of The Mystery Santa contest.
As the winner of The Mystery Santa contest, Morris will receive a dinner for two at Nick’s on 2nd Street, donated by the Eunice Kiwanis Club, a gift basket, and a one-year subscription to The Eunice News.
Rick Nesbitt, Kiwanian member and e-mail facilitator for the Kiwanis Mystery Santa contest, reported the winner.
Nesbitt stated, “The Mystery Santa must have been too easy! The Thursday edition of The Eunice News was put out at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, and 18 guesses came in on e-mail between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m.
“Every one of them got it right, no wrong guesses. But the first to respond was Jeanita Morris.”
Other Mystery Santa guesses included Holly Gaspard guessed Robert Gaspard; Jack Ward guessed Terry Hoychick; “Linda” guessed Aaron Carter; Charles Fontenot guessed Rick Nesbitt; Amy Guillory guessed Paul Brown; Shelly Jenkins guessed Jerome Fontenot; and Peggy Thibodeaux guessed Jacob Bergeron.
