The city of Eunice recognized the National Day of Prayer Thursday evening at the Liberty Theater. The 68th annual National Day of Prayer’s theme was, “Pray for America, Love One Another, Just as I Haved Loved you,” John 13:34.
Local church ministers led the group attending in prayer for our neighbors, families, to end abortion, to end racism, schools, policemen and firefighters, community, against violence, and love for God. Ministers for the event included Deacon David Guillory, Monsignor J. Robert Romero, Kent Aguillard, the Rev. Caleb Semien, Chad Andrepont, the Rev. Regina Hickman, and the Rev. Donald Dupre.
Randy Aguillard of Eunice sang an opening and closing song for the prayer ceremony.
