Eunice Police are looking for four men following a shooting that happened during a home invasion.
According to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot, suspects knocked on the door of a home in the 200 block of Childs Street around 10:30 p.m. Monday evening.
When the victim opened the door Fontenot says the suspects forced their way in. “There was a struggle between the victim and the suspects. The victim was shot in the leg. The suspects then fled from the home on foot.
There were two people home at the time of the invasion.
Fontenot says the suspects allegedly told the victims repeatedly to “give it to me” during the home invasion.
The victims told police that they were not sure of what the suspects were referring to by saying “give it to me.”
Chief Fontenot said, “The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the Eunice Police Department at 457-2626.
