St. Landry Homestead grand opening

St. Landry Homestead Federal Savings Bank celebrated the grand opening of their newest location on Harry Guilbeau Road on Aug. 13. The bank celebrates the opening of its second location in Opelousas and its fourth location altogether. The event included a number of St. Landry Chamber members, St. Landry Homestead staff and administration, and other members of the community at large. In special attendance were the grandchildren of the original bank President, Mr. Lawrence J. Larcade “St. Landry Homestead has been serving Opelousas and the surrounding area since 1922 and we’re proud to expand our services into the Harry Guilbeau Economic Development District,” said Kip Bertrand, president and CEO of St. Landry Homestead.
