The St. Landry Parish School District will transition 12th-grade students to daily in-person learning Wednesday, according to a news release from the district.
The seniors will be going to school five days a week along with Prek-4th-grade students.
Students in grades 5 through 11 will continue to follow the hybrid A/B schedule until further notice.
Any twelfth-grade student currently enrolled in our St. Landry Parish Virtual Learning Academy (SLPVLA) who would like to return to face-to-face instruction should contact their school-based administrator by Friday. Any twelfth-grade student who is currently hybrid and wishes to attend the virtual academy should contact their school-based administrator by Friday.
School employees are working to follow all mitigation measures set forth by the Louisiana Department of Health.
“As a result, we have not experienced wide-spread COVID-19 transmission in our schools. We will continue to work with health officials and our nursing department to monitor and evaluate current situations to determine the best modality of learning for our students,” a news release stated.
