Tips sought in vehicle burglaries

St Landry Crime Stoppers needs help in solving a rash of vehicle burglaries.
On Aug. 26, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s deputies investigated two vehicle burglaries on Jeremy Drive, Opelousas.
Stolen in the burglaries were named brand purses, credit cards, tools, and a diamond ring valued at $2,000. The total loss of value is listed at over $3,000.
Deputies received information that Jacque Gatewood, 27, was seen at a local pawn shop trying to sell the stolen items stolen from the burglaries.
