EUNICE — It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Wesley “Wes” Miller announces his passing on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the age of 36. A Mass of Christian Burial was be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery with Father Sensat, Celebrant.
Wes was most recent, executive chef of the JAMES 710, accomplished honor graduate of the LCI Louisiana Culinary Institute; curated the Kitchen Academy at Three Forks Ranch Resort in Colorado. Home was where his heart was….
He will be missed by many, but none more than, his parents, Garrett and Myrna Miller of Eunice; his three siblings, Lee Miller and wife, Aimee of Eunice, Alex Miller and wife, Jessie of Ville Platte and Vivian Monceaux and husband, Austin of Scott; nephews and niece, Copeland Miller and Laura-Kate Miller; godchild, Greyson Miller; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Lillie Courville and L.E. and Irene Miller.
At the request of the family, visitation was held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, April 9, from 2 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 10, from 8 am until time of services. Friends led a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
