Drug arrests in Sunset resulted in the seizure of about 2 ounces of fentanyl powder, according to a news release from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz. The St.

Unrestrained driver dies in single-vehicle crash in St. Landry Parish

A single-vehicle crash on U.S. 167 near Bellridge Road in St. Landry Parish took the life of 19-year-old India Faith Young of Opelousas, according to a Louisiana State Police Troop I news release. The wreck occurred at about 2:30 p.m. Monday.
