COVID-19 vaccine eligibility expands to people 65 to 69

Louisiana will begin vaccinating people between the ages of 65 and 69 against COVID-19 on Monday, expanding eligibility to more than 275,000 additional Louisianans, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced Thursday.

Single parenting support group The next Single & Parenting seminar support group begins Feb. 24. The 13-week Single & Parenting sessions will start with a DVD than move to small groups. There will be a group facilitator for men and women. The group meets from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Harry Shawn Guillory passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the age of 61. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Pastor Chris Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Guillory Cemetery.
