March of Life set Jan. 22 in Eunice The annual March for Life is scheduled for noon Jan. 22 beginning at Picou’s Drug Store on 2nd Street for a socially distanced march to the Eunice City Hall in prayerful silence for a concluding prayer.

Sharon Ann Pangle Baker Casper

EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sharon Ann Pangle Baker Casper announces her passing on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Nacogdoches Medical Center in Texas at the age of 73. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m.

Bridge on Jessie B Road gets attention

A bridge on Jessie B Road in the Swords area may be replaced with a temporary culvert, according to St. Landry Parish President Jessie Bellard. Bellard said the bridge is to be replaced in 2022 or 2023, but the culvert is a temporary fix.
