Tri-Parish, state jobless rates increase

Tri-Parish unemployment rates rose in October compared to those in September and a year ago, according to statistics released Tuesday by the Louisiana Workforce Commission. The report also shows the Tri-Parish workforce is relatively unchanged from a year ago in October.

Devin Joseph Redlich passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the age of 35. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. at St Augustine Catholic Church in Basile with Father Keenon Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Langley Cemetery in Basile.
