UL Lafayette biologist’s vegetable research for NASA headed to space today

Radishes will soon enter the realm of asteroids, stars and cosmic dust, thanks to University of Louisiana at Lafayette researcher Dr. Karl Hasenstein. Hasenstein, a professor of biology in the Ray P. Authement College of Sciences, is sending radish seeds to the International Space Station.

Cleco to reinstate disconnect procedures and late fees today

With long-term, interest-free payment plans in place to assist customers with past due bills, Cleco will reinstate disconnect procedures and late fees starting Oct. 1. The temporary reimbursement of the KUBRA online payment processing fees ended Sept. 30.
