Council hears warnings from basin keepers

By Bobby Ardoin Eunice News correspondent Representatives from the non-profit Atchafalaya Basin Keepers organization presented St. Landry Parish Council members on Wednesday with several issues they claim endanger the wetlands area frequented by naturalists and outdoorsmen.

Free Hunters Ed Course May 15-May 16 In Eunice On May 15 and May 16 there will be a chance to obtain yur hunting license. A free meal will be provided by Masonic Harmony Lodge in Eunice, at 211 West Park Avenue. On May 15 the course is from 6 to p.m. and on May 16 the course is from 8 a.m.
