Veterans Outreach Clinic in Church Point U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins will hold a veterans outreach clinic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Church Point Community Center, 104 E. Darbonne St., Church Point. This is the first of six outreach clinics planned this year.

Citizen of the Year nomination tells Nesbitt’s story

Rick Nesbitt was awarded the Eunice Rotary Club’s 2019 Citizen of the Year Award on Wednesday. John Pucheu, chairman of the club’s Citizen of the Year committee, presented the award. The Rotary Club was founded in 1924 and has given the Citizen of the Year award since 1942.
