EUNICE~It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family announces the death of Raymond Carter Klumpp, an incredible husband, a wonderful father, son, grandfather, and a deeply good man who left us unexpectedly on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Acadian Medical Hospital. He was 55.

2 drivers killed in head-on crash in Vermilion Parish

Shortly after 6:30 a.m. today, Louisiana State Police Troop I began investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash on La. 14 near Fore Road in Vermilion Parish. The crash claimed the life of 29-year-old Kiristan Michelle Mitchell of Kaplan and 18-year-old Kalix James Broussard of Kaplan.

IOTA-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barbara LeJeune announces her passing on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Jennings American Legion Hospital at the age of 73. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Iota.

I can’t endorse the Times’s approach
