The following are arrests by Eunice Police. November 13 Peterech Rideau, 24, 1000 block of North Vivian, Eunice. Attempted first-degree murder, principal. James Kevin Comeaux, 53, 400 block of St. Matthew Street, Lawtell. Theft less than $1,000 and criminal trespass.

Fees increased at Eunice meeting

Tribute planned Saturday for Gerry McGee

A tribute to legendary guitarist Gerry McGee is planned from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church on Park Avenue in Eunice. McGee, who grew up in Eunice, died while on a solo tour in Japan on Oct. 12. He was 81 years old.
