Audit reports parish expenses exceeded revenues

The St. Landry Parish Council’s Administrative-Finance Committee approved an audit for the 2024 fiscal year at its meeting on Wednesday in Opeloussas. Steve Moosa, CPA of Darnall, Sikes and Frederick, presented the audit to the committee.

Kayla Ardoin, 39, of Mamou, has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run crash that killed Errol Deville, 55, of Eunice, on June 25. Ardoin was arrested on July 1 by Louisiana State Police Troop I troopers. Ardoin is charged with felony hit-and-run driving.
