The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Friday, May 1 Rashavian Dandra Dominick, 33, 100 block of Vernon Street, Opelousas. Domestic abuse battery (child endangerment).

Over 100 participants walked through the doors of the Second Chance Job Fair held at the Yambilee Building in Opelousas this week. Attendees had the chance to connect directly with employers, explore career pathways, and learn about the wide range of resources available to support their next chapter.
