The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Friday, May 30-Monday, June 2 Lacey Mae Kerry Doucet, 32, 500 block of Ray Street, Opelousas.

Eunice Police charge man in Sunday shooting

A 65-year-old man was shot in an physical altercation in the 600 block of South Beulah Street on Sunday. Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef stated the wounded man was treated at a local medical facility for a non-life threatening injury to his left leg behind the knee.
