Rosa Mae Bertrand

Rosa Mae Bertrand passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 80. A Celebration of Life was held at Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial followed in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

St. Thomas More Church Fall Festival

The annual St. Thomas More Church Fall Festival is scheduled Friday through Sunday. The festival opens at 5 p.m. Friday and fair rides run from 6 to 10 p.m. Fair rides are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday.

Students to return to Eunice Elementary

Eunice Elementary students who have been attending classes at Highland Elementary are to return to their campus within the next few days. The students were moved to Highland after a fire on Aug. 14 damaged a building at the Eunice Elementary campus.
