Barefoot Sunday at Unity Church of God There will be a Youth Ministry shoe drive, “Barefoot Sunday” from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday at Unity Church of God in Christ. The church is located at 1220 East Maple Avenue in Eunice. The public is invited to donate shoes.

“Little House on the Prairie” was never one of my favorite television shows for a very specific reason: The series of books about a pioneer girl and her family, written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, was in fact one of my favorite pieces of literature.

Council hears about city’s summer programs for kids

There will be plenty of activities in Eunice this summer for kids. Louisiana Folk Roots will hold a summer Kids Camp at LSUE on July 21 to 25. And The Eunice Public Library plans summer programs. The summer activities for kids were explained at Tuesday’s city council meeting.
