Louis Thomas passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the age of 49. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father Eric Groner Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Carbon dioxide pipeline danger explained

A pipeline that runs through Eunice poses a danger as if it is used to transport massive amounts of carbon dioxide, according to a speaker at Tuesday’s Eunice city council meeting. Mike Nichols, of the Louisiana CO2 Alliance, reframed injection wells as hazardous disposal sites.
