Eunice–It is with great sadness that the family of Lessie Celestine announces her passing on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Acadian Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was 69.

Mary Dale Guillory passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the age of 77. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 1. 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sam Fontana officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Household hazardous waste to be collected

The Tri-Parish workforce drop by 241 people in September compared to September 2023, according to statistics released by the Louisiana Workforce Commission on Tuesday. The September workforce totaled 67,496, down from 67,737 in September 2023.
