Budget bills pass House

The House of Representatives advanced House Bill 1 (HB1) by a unanimous vote of the members present (104-0) sending it to the Senate for further consideration.

Governor defends constitutional convention

Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry wants a new constitution. He wants it soon, but he won’t say what he wants in it.

Eunice Rotary Club honors an office ‘angel’

Raven DeVillier Lavergne is the winner of the Eunice Rotary Club’s Administrative Professional of the Year Award for 2024. The Rotary Club sponsored the Administrative Professional’s Day Luncheon Wednesday which was held at noon in the LSU Eunice Mumphrey Center.
