Man, 68, charged with multiple sexual battery counts

A 68-yeaar-old Opelousas man is charged with two counts of sexual battery and five counts of misdemeanor sexual battery, according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz. A parent of a juvenile victim met with deputies about his daughter being sexually abused by Alan Courville, Guidroz reported.

Eunice man wanted for Rayne attempted burglary

Rayne Police are asking for the public’s assistance locating Johnathan Jay Arabie. Arabie is wanted for attempted burglary. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Johnathan Arabie is described as a white male, 33 years of age. He is 5’9” in height and weighs 200 pounds.
