Blake Ryan Simon passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the age of 29. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sam Fontana officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Chataignier.

Louisiana’s seasonally adjusted employed data is at a record high for the third consecutive month, according to data released Thursday by the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics The number of seasonally adjusted employed for May is 2,039,425, a new record high for the series.
