Woman dead, 2 wounded in shooting near Palmetto

A female died and male and another female were wounded in a shooting outside Palmetto on Sunday, according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz. The shooting occurred at about 11 p.m. on Snows Road outside Palmetto. The female died at the scene. The wounded were taken to an area hospital.
