No quick fix for sewer problems

Putting a new wastewater treatment plant in operation would not happen until 2025. After a complaint that raw sewage is flowing from the sewer system in the Ash Street area, city engineer Karl Aucoin explained what the city’s plan is to upgrade the system.

Concealed carry permit class Saturday

The St Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a one day concealed carry permit training class on at 211 West Park in Eunice beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. The course is $100 and $80 for a spouse or renewal.
