Garage sale at FUMC Saturday First United Methodist Church in Eunice, at 501 S. 5th, will have a garage sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Any 65-year-old and older customer can receive 5 free pieces of clothing. Limited supply and only clothing pieces.

Unclaimed property checks in the mail

Louisiana State Treasurer John M. Schroder announced that 27,125 Unclaimed Property checks totaling $4.8 million were mailed May 26 following a data match to update addresses. Checks will be mailed to every parish in the state.

Eunice student is on McNeese rodeo team

With the last two rodeos on the season complete, the McNeese State University men’s rodeo team is the champion of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association’s (NIRA) Southern Region and the women’s team has finished in third place.
