LSU Eunice Chancellor Dr. Nancee Sorenson will become part of national leadership for the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) as a member of the Board of Directors, it was announced at the organization’s national conference earlier this month.

Rotarian pedals to eradicate polio

Ralph Zuke, a Rotarian from St. Louis, Missouri, made a pit stop in Eunice at noon Thursday at the VFW Post 8971 as he pedaled towing a “Barcalounger Rickshaw” on his way to the Rotary International Convention in Houston. Zuke’s 1,000 mile trip is in support of Rotary’s mission of eradicating polio.
