Rusty Sanner, a native of Milton, is known as a Master Cajun accordion builder and musician. Sanner was the guest speaker at the Eunice Rotary Club meeting Wednesday. Sanner was amazed with the accordion at the young age of 12.

St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs help in solving a shooting in the Opelousas area. At about 6:45 p.m. Feb. 9, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to 134 Milo Lane Opelousas in reference to a shooting. The victims in the shooting were a 24-year old-male and a female juvenile, age 11.
