The girlfriend of teen killed Friday was arrested in a Sunday shooting that seriously injured a man on South Beulah Street. The girlfriend of Tyvon Favors, who was gunned on near Kim’s Market on East Laurel, was arrested after a chase that ended on a dead end farm road off L.

Teen gunned down in parking lot

A 17-year-old Eunice male was shot to death Friday evening, according to Police Chief Randy Fontenot. Fontenot identified the victim as Tyvon Favors. Police were called at 9:59 p.m. to the shooting at 600 E. Laurel Ave.
